Liability Waiver

I have read the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions issued for the 2010 BARC “Distance” Race identified above and agree to be bound by the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions. In consideration of acceptance of this entry or my being permitted to take part in this event, I agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Tsawwassen Yacht Club, the International Yacht Club of B.C., and Point Roberts Yacht Club, their organizers and their respective agents, officials, servants, and representatives from and against all claims, actions, costs, expenses, and demands in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to my person, crew or property however caused, arising out of, or in connection with my taking part in the 2010 BARC “Distance” Race identified above, notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or caused by the negligence or actions of any or all of the same bodies, or their agents, officials servants or representatives. I further understand and agree that this liability waiver is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors and assigns.

I acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for the safety of my crew and Yacht.

I hereby agree to all of the Conditions for the 2010 BARC “Distance” Race identified above and shall inform each member of my crew of these conditions. I hereby warrant that my yacht will be outfitted, equipped and handled in accordance with these Conditions; that she will have all of the required equipment aboard, that she is seaworthy in hull, rig, and gear and that she will be completely manned.
